Bomber Plane

The Inspiration

To see if we could come up with a better paper plane than the original in our first ever paper plane toast off. Spoiler alert, we didn’t. So we’re calling this the Bomber Plane to represent our “L” in that competition and the smoky mezcal notes that definitely come through at the end. Love it or hate it, but try it out if you like a little smoke.

Ingredients

0.75 ounce of bourbon (evan williams, bottled in bond)
0.25 ounce of mezcal (used minero, but choose something light in smoke)
1 ounce of lemon juice
1 ounce of aperol
1 ounce of amaro nonino

How to Prepare

1. Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake for 30 seconds
2. Strain and pour into your favorite coupe glass

Pro tip: for the best foam, use two large ice cubes and double strain to agitate it and reduce the ice from pulling that beautiful foam down with it.

Cheers!
